ATCO STREET PARTY

Patricia Street from 6-9 p.m. becomes the ATCO STREET PARTY for a variety of activities, sights, sounds and tastes. Enjoy authentic aboriginal drumming, practise your animal forensic investigation skills, challenge yourself with some GPS fun and meet Parka the Parks Canada mascot. Parks staff will be set up near the Information Centre and will be looking forward to seeing you there.

ROBSON ON THE ROCKS WINTER ICE BAR
» The 3rd annual ice bar is set to be another hit for 2015! Located adjacent to the Robson House, featuring special coffee and hot chocolate as well as a ‘shot ski' designed just for the event! Salute to snow includes ski movies and a celebratory atmosphere honouring all that is Jasper in January!

» Watch as skiers and snowboarders get hauled on a high powered winch through a mini park built in the centre of downtown.

HOW TO CARVE A BEAR

WITH ALLAN WAIDMAN

Allan began carving stone in the late 90's, he is self-taught, working primarily in chlorite, alabaster and soapstone, using a variety of tools and techniques he has developed many unique applications to perfect his work. He continues to evolve that talent, refine his work and generously share his knowledge.

Mourning Wood Band

Mourning Wood has been one of Alberta's most beloved rock cover bands for the past decade. The band appeals to a vast and eclectic demographic, ensuring that witnesses leave their inhibitions behind in order to lavish in the energy of musical lust. The band self-proclaims that it is the easiest rock band on the eyes in the Borealis area.

Jasper Brew Tour Experience

The Jasper Brewing Co was opened in the spring of 2005 and was Canada's first National Park Brewery. Three of the founders were born and raised in Jasper, and from the early years of their experiences in the food and beverage industry they felt there was a large demand for a "local" brew. Combine that with a love for beer - and they decided to open a brewpub.

Tracking: A Beginner Snowshoe Activity with Parks Canada

For this program we'll strap on snowshoes (provided) and explore the area around Marmot Meadows in search of animal tracks and other wildlife signs. During nasty weather, we'll host an activity inside the shelter or tipi.

5th Annual Loud & Proud Party

Watch some local favourites turn from "Straight to Diva!" In collaboration with local salons, 4 straight men will turn into drag queens for a night! Hair, make up, high heels and all! Each participant will do a dance number and of course Jasper's own Toni Van Blam will be performing! Followed by a Dj so we can dance the night away!
