HOW TO CARVE A BEAR

WITH ALLAN WAIDMAN

Allan began carving stone in the late 90's, he is self-taught, working primarily in chlorite, alabaster and soapstone, using a variety of tools and techniques he has developed many unique applications to perfect his work. He continues to evolve that talent, refine his work and generously share his knowledge.

Give skiing or snowboarding a try, right in the middle of Jasper! The Visitor Information Lawn is transformed into a very gentle ski slope, perfect for trying the sports for the 1st time. We will have rental equipment and instructors on hand to teach people of all ages skiing and snowboarding!

First Nations Dark Sky stories are observations that were shared through story and ceremony; interlinking the sky, the land, and the people with timeless understandings that foster traditional values, strengths, and wisdom. This interactive story telling program will take place around the fire with tea and bannock.
