Jasper in January 2016  Food-A-Palooza

Jasper in January 2016 celebrates the third annual Food-A-Palooza. Jasper's Townsite Restaurants will be brewing with mouth-watering menus. Food-A-Palooza is a culinary "crawl" to compliment a weekend of traditional Jasper in January events such as Mountain Park Lodge's "Chili Cook Off", Sawridge's "Hops and Scotch" and Jasper's Progressive Dinner.

Incredible 6 course Spanish tapas dinners featuring small plates and wine pairings from 3 restaurants and finish up at Jasper's local brew pub!

Three restaurants. One dinner.
Evil Dave's Grill, The Olive Bistro, and Fiddle River Restaurant are proud to bring you a Spanish themed progressive dinner. Each restaurant will create two small plates (tapas) complete with a wine pairing. Following each course you are whisked away to the next restaurant to explore their tapas offering.
International Cellars Wines will be pairing the dishes with Spanish wines from their extensive list. Cost is 99/person and includes food, drinks, taxes and gratuities.

Years of working with colour, design and varied applications within the advertising field have laid a solid groundwork for John's painting. With a principle focus on portraiture, he seems to consistently capture the essence of the personalities he paints. With a style that varies from flat application of colour to vibrant knife painting and use of mixed media, he continues to grow in style and confidence with each new work.

HOW TO CARVE A BEAR

WITH ALLAN WAIDMAN

Allan began carving stone in the late 90's, he is self-taught, working primarily in chlorite, alabaster and soapstone, using a variety of tools and techniques he has developed many unique applications to perfect his work. He continues to evolve that talent, refine his work and generously share his knowledge.

The Jasper Brewing Co was opened in the spring of 2005 and was Canada's first National Park Brewery. Three of the founders were born and raised in Jasper, and from the early years of their experiences in the food and beverage industry they felt there was a large demand for a "local" brew. Combine that with a love for beer - and they decided to open a brewpub.
